Hotel information
The house was build at the beginning of the 20th century and changed into a hotel in the 80's. You can find it in a nice lane with other stately mansions. The building has some unique art-deco details among which a beautiful glass door in the breakfast room. The name 'Gulden Vlies' originates from the order of knights that was founded in 1430 by Filips de Goede in Brugge.

Room information
All rooms have been refurbished to look really nice and cosy, and are very comfortable, with special attention being paid to offering you comfort when sleeping. We have chosen a stylish combination of beige, aubergine and ebony wood, together with antique wardrobes and a good eye for detail.

Area information
The coast is 20 minutes away, Gent 30 minutes and Antwerp and Brussels is one hour away by car. In the surrounding area, there are many tourist routes to explore. We recommend to cycle to Damme, Lissewege and enjoy the beautiful flemish Polder landscape.
